Byrnes has made a career taking on large corporations. He left the largest law firm in the state to represent individuals seeking justice and fair treatment from banks and large conglomerates. He defends homeowners facing foreclosure from bailed-out banks who refuse to modify or adjust homeowner mortgages. He pursues companies that over bill our school systems. He will challenge and disrupt any legal or political structure that condones excessive bank and credit card fees, including suspicious fees and data charges from cell phone carriers and cable companies. Individual consumers find themselves in a David versus Goliath world where they must battle billion dollar corporations. Byrnes wants to level the playing field. He is eager to begin rebuilding the state and empowering citizens whose needs were ignored by an absentee governor absorbed with his own political future. He pledges to dismantle the rigged economy and build what we all want now: a New Jersey.
